According to a Cambridge University Study, individuals in the STEM fields (science, technology, engineering and math) have minds much more inclined to “systems-thinking,” and were more likely to exhibit exceptional talents associated with autism than individuals in less technical professions.
Twice-Exceptional (2e)
The term “twice exceptional” is used to refer to intellectually gifted children who have one or more learning delays such as speech and language, ADHD, dyslexia or on the autism spectrum (e.g. Asperger).
Gifted (The Talent Factor)
Students with gifts and talents perform—or have the capability to perform—at higher levels compared to others of the same age, experience, and environment in one or more domains (National Association of Gifted Children). Did you know gifted girls tend to be hidden in plain sight especially in STEM?
